- June 1st – 2nd – 3rd 2017,
First experience for Taichi Amano and Shota Sakurai to visiting Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. Both of them were stay in my house for 3 nights. It also first experience for us to welcoming young Japanese for couple nights stay in our small house, especially it was Ramadhan Month, time for moslem fasting and do the religious thing a whole month full. But it was so much fun and they really act like family of mine.
1st day, me and my husband were picked up them in the Soetta Airport, middle of the night 🙂 arrived at home, we’ve got early breakfast called SAHUR, and they want joined us also fasting. Surprising !
Morning, we went to SMKN 57, my former school where I teached for 15 years there. We met my students who want to join our trip today. and also for their practicing japanese & english as conversation.
Continue to Lobang Buaya Museum. Learned about Indonesian History related to communism. Taichi’s majoring in Waseda University is Law, so he also learn about world history. After that, we were going to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, and break our fast on Maghrib time, in Masjid At Tiin. After get dinner, we went home.
They said they want to try Indonesian Ramadhan atmosphere by doing what everymoslem did. I was so worried all day, several times I said to break your fast if you’re getting thirsty or hungry. But they really finished their fasting very well. Even they also did Sholat ! Masya Allaah …
2nd day, after SAHUR, continue sleep, hehehe
Morning, went to Bunderan HI, and heading to MUSEUM NATIONAL. Learned history again inside museum, and sholat jumat together in Masjid. Continue to MONAS, climbed up 3rd floor of MONAS, and break our fast that day on maghrib time in Masjid Kementerian Keuangan, Lapangan Banteng. Enjoyed the night in Kota Tua.
3rd day,
Went to Indonesia University and ANCOL, enjoyed the sunset, break our fast on the way to Soekarno Hatta Airport. They were going to Aceh !
